Welcome to True Organic Cosmetics.

Natural, regional and organic cosmetics are our conviction. Our values are firmly anchored in a commitment to authenticity, sustainability and the well-being of our customers. With us, you can be sure that every product has been carefully selected and made with love for nature. We only use high-quality raw materials and avoid 100% synthetic ingredients and fillers. 

Founder

  • Dominique Hofbauer

    I am the founder and managing director of the company and have been able to learn many different things in my life.

    From my training as a paramedic, to my studies in astrophysics and music production, to my passion for IT and shooting sports, it's all there. I see myself as the Jack of all trades.

    My motivation for True Organic Cosmetics arose from a personal necessity coupled with the desire to become the best employer in the world. 

  • Isabella Engelberger

    I am the co-founder of True Organic Cosmetics and am in charge of product development and marketing. Thanks to my many years of experience as a master hairdresser and natural hairdresser, I have always had the desire to develop genuine natural and organic cosmetics to make my customers' hair sustainably healthy and beautiful. Together with Dominique, I was able to realize this dream.

  • When I was struggling with severe hair loss in 2019, I tried all kinds of products from established companies to counteract it. Unfortunately, it didn't have the desired effect that was loudly advertised.

  • After some men in my family had to struggle with hair loss under the age of 30, I thought to myself "Oh, that's genetic anyway, there's nothing more you can do about it".

  • I met my wife at the end of 2020. I told her about my hair loss and that I had long since come to terms with it. As a natural hairdresser, she explained to me what the hair loss could be related to and banned all products with unpronounceable, toxic and synthetic ingredients from our bathroom. She gave me a shampoo, a brush and the advice to brush my scalp for 5 minutes every day and wash my hair with the organic shampoo.

    Or not?

  • Not quite 3 months later, the hair came back in places I had not expected. I was in love with the effect of organic hair cosmetics (and with my wife).

    Now I'm only bald because I want to be.

    At the beginning of 2021, we decided to found our organic cosmetics company True Organic Cosmetics.

    Our aim is to make people aware of the benefits and to give them the experience that using organic cosmetics does not mean having to do without anything, quite the opposite: you gain a lot of quality of life.
